What engine does my 2016 X3 have?

I'm trying to identify my X3's engine type so I can identify and purchase the proper oil filter, oil type and quantity to perform my first personal oil change. All previous oil changes were done by the dealer under warranty. First time looking in to it, I didn't figure it would be difficult to identify an engine type.

I have a 2016 X3 X Drive 28i. Any advice as to where I can locate my engine type on the vehicle and change specs would be appreciated.

Thanks

Do you have an owner's manual?

Wiki? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_X3...4%E2%80%932017)

You have a 2.0L four cylinder turbo, N20B20O0 180kW version https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_N20#N20B20

You have the N20, but don't take our word for it. Look for this sticker on the under side of your hood. The engine code is the last three characters in the "Group" line.

You have a N20 or N26. Look under the hood, there's sticker that has your engine listed on it.
