Diff Flange Seal replacement

Hi All, new to the forum so apologies if this has been discussed before but I have been searching all evening and can't find an answer.
Short version is; I require the correct part number for the diff pinion nut and it is NOT 3312607158.
More details as follows:
I have a 2014 F25 2.0D X-drive, the rear diff pinion seal was leaking. Had the seal replaced at the dealer but, some bodger had previously damaged the diff flange nut with a chisel. The dealer claims that despite several calls to and from BMW in Germany, BMW say you cannot buy the nut separately, you have to fit a new diff.
I find this very difficult to believe!
I looked on RealOEM which clearly shows 2 different nuts; one is listed in the final drive assembly diagram and the other is listed in the driveshaft diagram but here's the crunch, both have the same part number of 33127607158.
This part has replaced 3 other part numbers but a search shows the same part every time. A Google search confirms that part number 33127607158 consistently comes up as the smaller nut that sits on the propshaft, I need the correct part number for the diff pinion nut - can anyone assist at all please?
Alternative part numbers I have come up with are:
26117567770
33127565403
26117555984
All of which are incorrect.
If any of you guys have a repair manual, I was hoping the correct info would be in there.

BMWs NewTIS manual does not have part numbers.
