2011 X3 28i audio options
I can't connect my iphone xr to my car with apple (original) cable, message indicates that use a BMW approved cable or something.
What do you guys use for listening your phone apps like Pandora or what your phone offers. I saw some cables selling on ebay etc. but also many people complains they are not working too. Thanks in advance if nothing, FM that is for us i guess |

I use a genuine Apple cable to listen to music in my X3. I originally used Bluetooth for a short amount of time but I noticed the audio quality would sometimes go back and forth. Maybe it was my iPhone 7's bluetooth...idk.
To help try and solve your problem, I would recommend buying a new cable. From what I've experienced, it seems that lighting cables can be a bit finicky when it comes to using them in cars. The slightest wear to a lighting cable will cause my phone to disconnect/reconnect to my x3 constantly. |

One other note that, i connected my phone to car with Bluetooth but works only for phone calls. I can't use Bluetooth connection to listen music or streaming from my phone. Last edited by Salacak; 06-10-2020 at 08:15 PM.. |

you probably do not have the enhanced bluetooth option to allow for things other than phone calls to be received by the X3.
