Rain water dripping into engine bay from windshield

I’ve been having some smoke coming from the engine bay during rainy days. I’ve already replaced a leaky valve cover, and have seen the smoke from both passenger and driver sides.

I opened up the hood and had noticed when it’s raining or if I spray water on the windshield, the water drips into the engine bay then hits hot components creating smoke.

Does anyone know how the water is supposed to drain, how do I prevent this? Is it just old, warped cowling??

See this video to see the drips
