No worries - well, I don't mind as long no-one posts afterwards saying they got them £200 cheaper

£2,200 - no negotiation but I didn't try as it was close alloywheelsdirect. Fitting and dropping off tyres at home for self storage is £30 a time

Cold weather's comin' next week!

The wife bought a snow shovel randomly today. Between us we are absolutely guaranteeing we'll get no snow this winter!

Looking good sfax, thos 307s are a bugger to keep clean due to break dust

Will be interesting how the tyres wear in our mildest winter ever...(how did you get them past the wife?)

They cannot possibly be harder to clean than my 309s - surely!? I get bruised fingers after cleaning the small gaps on the 309s

We need the winter tyres for next winter's skiing road trip to the Tatras so that has helped to justify the expenditure

I think they make the ride feel a little bit softer but it's a very small difference

Let's have some snow before Christmas!

At least with the 309's, I can get my hand through the gaps to clean inside and in back of the spokes. Won't be able to do this with the 307's.
I still think they'll be easier. Tell me they'll be easier! The 309s are a bitch. Swapping tyres and wheels for winter also gives you a biannual opportunity to wash and wax them thoroughly
