Question Windshield Wipers

Maybe I just need to re-read the manual, but yesterday it was pouring like hell so I turned on my wipers and I had the normal constant speed on, and then it lightened to a drizzle and I was looking for the intermittent speed, and I noticed the X3 doesn't have that speed?

I am sure it does and I didn't set or adjust the wipers properly - any insight would be appreciated.

There has to be a few speeds besides normal and fast, right?

Does yours have rain sensing? Much easier.

There should be a little button on the end of the wiper stalk that enables the rain sensing (intermittent) wiper setting.

That one fooled me the first time because that changed from the first generation X3.

This is one for the record books. New owner out driving in the rain, and doesn't know how to work the windshield wipers. If only there was a way to obtain such information for the owner . . . .
