UK xenons - driving in Europe

got a trip coming up next week and was reading the manual, apparently cos i have xenons, there's no need for the usual headlight converters? no adaptive headlights btw..

anyone confirmed this?

just found it odd cos i had to do it on the other car which also had xenons..

I've read on another forum that they have to be adjusted by the dealer but I would like to know the answer too please and I'll be doing the same later this year

Took mine over 3000 miles around France back in May and I didnt get my xenons adjusted by the dealer or put any funny sticky things on - just went by what it said in the handbook and marked the page in case I got stopped! Apparently the design of the light is that they produce a flat beam light pattern so there is no problem when driving on the "wrong side" of the road. No one flashed me in all that time so presumably the design works!!

If you're driving through France I understand you'll need a breathalyser kit :-|

I can confirm that for Belgium you need both fire extinguisher and visibility vest.

i think the fire extinguisher is only compulsory for belgian registered vehicles and "recommended" for non-belgian vehicles.
