Bluetooth Mic \ Skipping Tracks

So I am still anxiously waiting the arrival of my X3 (hopefully in a week or two). I have two questions that should be simple to answer...

1. Bluetooth Mic - in my Acura it is located in the driver side A pillar. This is a problem when someone calls and my wife in the passenger seat tries to talk. We end up just putting the phone on speaker. In the Lexus I noticed that the mic mic is centrally located in the roof panel. Where is it in the X3?

2. I usually keep my iPod Classic in the car on shuffle. I tend to skip over a good number of tracks to find one that I actually want to listen to. Annoying yes but the system works for me. I just noticed that the steering wheel doesn't have a channel/track button. To skip songs do I need to move the right dial and then press it to select or is there a quick skip somewhere?

Thanks!

1) The mic should be in the headliner on either side of the moonroof control (one for the driver, one for the front passenger).

2) If your iDevice is connected via Bluetooth, then you can skip tracks using the right jog wheel on the steering wheel. AFAIK, if you plug in your iDevice into the center console, you can only skip tracks using the iDrive knob. That's the way I've been doing it at least. Let me know if I'm wrong...

Hope this helps.

Two mics? Good to know and that would be awesome.

Regarding the skipping tracks - since it is a classic I keep in the car it will be connected via USB in the center console. The jog wheel won't skip then? Seems a pain to use the iDrive knob to skip especially if I don't have that screen up.

Yes, the steering wheel jog dial allows you to skip tracks on your iPod/iPhone.

I use an iPod classic and you can skip the tracks using the knob on the steering wheel...you can also see the track names on the center of the dashboard display..
