I ordered a M-Sport 3.5 on Oct. 4 for a November allocation/build and was advised of delivery before Christmas. Dropped by and spoke to my SA yesterday and found out that mine is on the train with arrival date of Nov. 21 at the depot (?Toronto - I didn't ask). From there to Ottawa.
I hadn't been following the build process so I don't know when production started. |

For the 2011 models, it was running about 2 months from order date.
Don't know about the 2012 models, but understand the SC factory is building them as fast as possible, and the sales numbers are strong. I might guess the 2 months still a yardstick.

For those of you ordered the 2012 (in particularly, GTA dealers), were you able to get 6% or more off the MSRP ? I have read the other threads on price negotiation, looks like 6% is the target #.
If so, how much more am I able to squeeze out |

We got 5.6% off MRSP. If we went with 2011 we could have probably gotten 6.5% but because it's 2012 they wouldn't budge. Initally they wouldn't go over 5% but we tried to get as close to 6% as possible.
It's furstrating how in US they're getting bellow invoice price in some cases and here you're lucky if you get 6%. |
