Hmm, I think the old people on here stay up later than I do.
My typical schedule is 10pm-4/5:30am during the week.
Sometimes when I'm feelling peppy I'll stay up until 10:05pm on the weekend.


I'm well versed in having to understand accents. So many different accents..., it's all sinking in just this moment.

Been working those deficits we talked about. Last week of these before I try pulling again.

I care very little for football and only watched maybe a half hour of super bowl coverage total, but I didn't like how I felt the media was trying to weave this Cam Newton "black hero" thread into it. "Only the 6th black quarterback to play in the super bowl..."

The NFL is 2/3 black, why is that remarkable at all? There's nothing inherently wrong with the statement, it's just an innocuous fact. But that it's even worth mentioning and the thought that the audience will be receptive to it is what doesn't sit right with me. Anyone else notice this?

Don't worry - he was also the black victim leading up to it. People only don't like his showboating/celebration behavior because he is black. If he were white no one would care. It is our racist culture of keeping your "boys" under control... That was the story they were trying to sell in the runup to the game. (Boring...)

Completely agree. No doubt there's realities of race in the US that you have to account for, but people are people.

Every time this "us and them" mentality is shown the light of day, it's only legitimizing the idea in people's minds. Although, maybe that's what they want to hear.
