What did you drive before your X3?
Just curious what some other X3 drivers drove last, perhaps a new thread as well
my sig says my last car...

Noted below in my sig. Most previous was '07 328xiT (a lease return I got until the new X3 was available), then before that '09 E90 M3, and '08 E60 535xi. The 328xiT was just a "bridge" over winter from the M3 to the X3.

2007 E90. Before that - 2006 E90 (beta version, released in June '05)
Photos can be seen (including our E91 that was replaced with the X5) in my garage photo, to the left. Which are decent, if I do say so myself. And I do. Say so myself, that is.

The X3 is replacing a Toyota Kluger Grande. Overseas I think they are branded as a Highlander...

Might explain why Starbucks is going broke and closing down stores over here...

if we go back a few cars, before the 2008 E91, I had a 2003 VW passat v6 4motion wagon, before that a 2000 chevy blazer, and before that a pair of ford exploders going back to the early 90s. the first one was 2 door, stickshift, lots of fun
some sort of 4wd/AWD system is a trend.

Current 2006 VW Passat Sport & 2005 X trail 2.5 SVE. Both to go when the X3 arrives
Previous 2002 BMW E46 320D, 120,000 miles in 3 years without a problem. Others in recent times have included a Ford Mondeo, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and Vauxhall Astra. Believe it or not, the Astra was the one i had the least trouble with, did over 50,000 miles one year, 120,000 when I sold it! |
