x3 panoramic moonroof
can the panoramic moonroof be closed so no light comes through? Or is it like the audi where it's a perforated vinyl sheet where light always comes through?

Closed so no light comes through. The shade is thick and padded. Definitely not like the Audi's. I like this setup better because in the winter months I feel itadds a bit of insulation plus it's nice to be able totally block out the sun if need be.

If you want to see what the shade looks like BMW has a video of the shade in operation here: http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...mYyXp0PTxXJZw=

I've seen a lot of cars with panoramic roof (even fixed) that have this solution or even nothing at all and tried them in full sun during summer... Useless, annoying if not even a bit dangerous. BMW sunroof is ok, the shade is a real thick and solid shade, blocking 100% of light. |
