Probably in Australia. In Europe only with the High Executive pack or the Innovation Pack.

One time when I locked the car instead of one beep there were several, I walked around the car, the left rear passengers window was down about 1/3.

Seeing one !!!! they are rarer than the abominable snowman and you probably have a better chance of seeing the Loch Ness monster than an LCI in the UK

1. The car shows navigation instructions and lane diagrams are shown on the dashboard LCD
2. The interior lights can be adjusted from Classic (bmw orange like the dash) to Modern (cool white colour)!
3. The engine is very quiet under cruise, and I feel I'm getting excellent fuel economy with auto start/stop!

Yes - here's a few differences between 2015 LCI and 2014 X3 that I noticed:

- Chrome lines between buttons on steering wheel and window openers
- Tailgate release switch now positioned with driver window openers
- Digital compass is a new display item between speedo and rev couner
- Footwell lights in rear seat moved to under front seats so no longer visable
- Extended storage no longer includes cups or extra power socket under trunk load floor
- B47 2.0d engine is miles better than N47 - smoother, quieter and much smaller in engine bay
- Wiper and indicator switches improved - even better than previous version (which were excellent)
- New Nav features for EcoPro - route ahead planning and advice
- Embossed X in headrest leather
+ lots of others

Strangely enough, we saw one last night on the M1 we were heading up to Yorkshire for a family wedding this weekend and in the slow moving traffic just north of Nottingham we were surprised to see another 64 plate 20d - it was dark but it was either silver or white and looked to be X-line trim on 19s

I just tried that earlier today and my 2011 is not that smart.

The tailgate remote close (and also the close from the button located at the drivers side) can be coded in using the e-sys software and ODB2 cable. Takes about 5 minutes - have a look at the coding forums.

How do you do the interior light colour change, is it LC1 only?

It could be a LCI feature if you're not setting it. Mine's a 2015 X3. It's in the Settings menu, under lights.

One more thing I found today on my 2015 X3 - if you touch any of the 1-8 shortcut keys (without pressing on it) beside the volume knob, your display will show what the shortcut leads to! I was quite surprised to discover this gem today!

That feature is also on the pre LCI. It only requires a very light touch on the button for it to display, quite cool.

I was surprised that none of the features that close something from the FOB work on the US Spec car. The US GOVT must really think we are going to cut some heads off by closing windows and folding mirrors with key FOBs. I’ve fixed it with a little coding via laptop. Well not me, I paid a guy who had a guy.
