Bimmercode obd adapter wifi or bluetooth version?

Thinking about getting the Bimmercode app, but was wondering which obd adapter is better? The bluetooth or wifi version? Does the wifi version require you to be near your router in order to get a connection?

I am using wifi. You do not need a data connection to code the car.

Supposedly the wifi adapter provides a more robust connection than Bluetooth but I find it a bit slow.

thanks. I read someone here said the wifi version doesn't work well with android. Is that true? I have an S8.

if you use android go with bluetooth , iphone requires wifi adapter.
