X4 3.5 vs 440i

Lease is coming up next month. Thinking about upgrading to an X4 from my 320. Current X440i owners, should I step up from the 3.5i without any regrets?

Agreed. For the price difference, the M40i is a no-brainer.

The extra performance, the trim pieces, the wheels, the improved handling, and more set it apart. Here's the thread on my first impressions coming from an X3 35i http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1236750

I'm driving an X4 m40i right now because somebody keyed my X4 35i.

1) The handling is improved very noticeably. It feels much more sure-footed when turning hard, and doesn't seem to lean as much.
2) It's got a bit more gusto when you gun it. The 35i isn't really a slouch in this department, though.
3) The exhaust note when you do #2 is fun.
4) Long Beach Blue is the color I wanted that wasn't available when I bought my Carbon Black car.

It's a worthy step up for sure. I find myself putting it in sport mode and "throwing it around" a lot more like I used to with my old G37 coupe.

Maybe in the US, not here in the EU. At least not in the Nordics.
