UPDATE

MORE PICS

Life with the X3 is great!!! I could do without the dirt from the snow and street salt, but that's hardly a sacrifice. Often finding myself in sport mode regardless of bumpy roads; the 18" wheels definitely ride softer than the 19" wheels, so I'm glad I can feel comfortable in sport without being scared of bumps.

Makes a great sound in my garage, resonating throughout. The garagemen love it, too.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your choices! A lot of complicated crap out there in the world, I find it great fun focusing some energy on just enjoying these cars. Simple pleasure. Have fun!

It's not standard, but it comes with the Sports Activity Package.

I figured as it looked a bit thicker than normal.

Is there more than 2 st wheel styles now, standard and M?

Any pics of all of them side by side?

Is this Jet Black or Black Sapphire Metallic? Anyone have any photos to compare the two side by side?

There is the standard multifunction wheel, then the SAP premium leather wrapped multifunction wheel, and the "not yet available in the states" M-sport wheel.

Black Sapphire Metallic. Jet Black will always look streaky or dirty. The metallic is worth the extra $550.

Nice Volvo too :-) The XC70 is a massive car, but next to the X3 it's very humble!

The Volvo is my neighbor's car. I live in a condominium, with assessed parking spaces. Even my other neighbor's S-Class doesn't hold much up to my X3, IMO.

There are a lot of nifty daytime running lights out here these days and some might say the BMW cat eyes or corona rings are a bit old -- but I really think they're cool lookin' with these bright LED color! Can't resist checking out their reflection whenever I can, or unlocking and walking out of my way to approach from the front. The pic above really shows them off in comparison!

You know the diamond button below the trunk button turns on your headlights if pressed once (alarm if held down)

it's very cool, and it freaks people out. it makes a lot of people on the street think that someone just started the car to leave a parking space, BUT NO. the car remains off and locked, its owner halfway down the block.

That sounds like it might entertain me on the way out of the grocery store and back to the car . . . . thanks!
