BMW watches : lifestyle accessories

Anyone own a BMW watch from Lifestyle Accessories? I need a weekend watch and was thinking about this one (80-26-2-179-743). I think it's the same as this one (80-26-2-179-745) but with a stainless band.

I suppose I could ask my dealer's parts guy if I could refuse it if I didn't like it.

I got a BMW ///M watch for the same purpose. Solid overall relatively speaking, obviously it's no Patek Philippe. The band on mine is so-so, but I think it's specific to the type I got. Go ahead and spoil yourself.

Thanks for the link. Their prices seem very good. Any clue what the case diameter is for the M-watch? I don't like huge watches. The one I was looking at is 40mm and that's plenty big. Any bigger and I would have to look at something else.

Unfortunately, can't give you anything better than directional guidance because I am in a temp living situation and don't have the luxuries you take for granted like measuring devices . It is definitely bigger than my Tag, and it looks to be about 2" or 50mm-ish across. Certainly can vary by style, so I think your initial approach to go to a dealer boutique to vet out your options before ordering online is sound. Good luck!

LOL!! 50 mm would be huge!! I'll check it out somehow. I hope your temporary situation improves.

Alright...figured there must be an iPad ruler app vs. firing out arbitrary #s. Assuming the one I snagged is accurate, it is about 1.625" across or roughly 41mm. Not full on Flava Flav like I originally predicted

Temp housing stinks, but our home is under construction, and we won't close until March. Short term pain for hopefully long term gain.

Thanks for the extra effort! 41 mm is on the large side but not huge. I got a 36 mm Rx DJ (if you know that model) and it seems a good size to me but a few years ago they released a "II" model that's 41 mm. Many women buy the 36 mm instead of the traditionally smaller "women's" watch size and many men are opting for 41 mm (or even larger). I don't have huge wrists, so huge watches don't look right on me. Good luck with the construction!

Haha. This thread reminds me of the Friends episode with Joey and the Porsche
"Did a Porsche throw up on you?" LOL
