Probably a coincidence, but the first flat probably 10 years occurred days after buying my 2016 X3 with GY run-flat tires. Apparently, the left front was punctured by something leaving a large hole. In fact, the local General tire shop worried that it might be too big to patch. For me, "flat" in "run-flat" has been a self fulfilling prophecy. Hoping to ditch the GY's as soon as I can rationalize the cost of new conventional tires. I can't imagine holding on to them until worn out, so I am looking for some pretext to buy others.
