Leather/Vinyl Covering of the Glove Box Lid Coming Off

Was detailing the interior today and noticed that the lower left corner of the leather/vinyl lid covering was coming off. Removed the glove box. I did not see any adhesive nor did the cover clip or snap into anything. I was able to carefully place contact cement between the plastic lid and the cover. Kept the two parts separated for about 15 minutes; then cemented them together and clamped them using three clamps. Let it dry for about two hours. Seems to be holding. It appears to be a problem with other Bimmer models.

Mine too - replaced under warranty. If it happens again I guess I'll just glue the thing.

Mine, too. Lower left corner. CPO won't cover trim, so I'm going to try contact cement.
