If anyone is willing to try these guys out, I found a European website selling the Euro-spec headlights without the orange reflectors...

YES! I would definitely buy a set of these.

Anyone think we can get enough US owners interested to have these produced?
This is the only option IMO, because I'm not paying $1000 for a new set of headlights just to get rid of the amber reflector, and I'm not heating up my current headlights and opening the seal to access the reflector

While the orange turn signals and reflectors are ugly it wouldn't be so bad if they weren't always on.

I just noticed this week that if you turn on your low beams the orange reflectors light up and stay on, then flash when turning.

Right, but they did this to allow for the LED turn signal configuration as part of the LCI. I would have liked to option the LED turn signals on the X3 with bi-xenons as on the 5-series, for example. They are brighter and classier.

This is a requirement of US laws, cannot help it.
