Might be the best option for this car, but I haven't ever de-badged one.

Compared the merc is even uglier
Rear visibility appears to be horrible on both.

And I agree the merc is way uglier. After seeing some of the video footage the LED does look cool and the lights aren't bad but the back hatch looks like they tried to design it to look like a trunk and it just doesn't look right.

I have a feeling it will look better from the rear in colors other than red. Like BSM.

Either this guy is really tall, or the car is really low, look at the 1st picture! The car seems to be as low as a 1er, from his stand point

Why is the X4 badge on the rear in some pictures at the top, and others at the bottom of the trunk?

I wonder if its possible to delete the trim piece and the LED in the front bumper? And bi-color interior only possible with individual?

Yeah 27 inches rims always look good

Still very VERY ugly.

SUV's should be left at just that. I cannot for the life of me understand the appeal of the "Sport Activity Coupe," sector.

Better than the 3 and 6 GT, but I suppose that's not saying much of anything...

I'm sure it won't be possible to just delete any of the Cerium Gray M Performance -specific trim pieces which are precisely there to distinguish these top of the line M Performance versions from the regular M Sport. Naturally once you have collected your vehicle you may modify the trim pieces to your taste Would be a shame to break the unity though.

Still VERY ugly.

I just don't understand the appeal of the segment. Proportionally the cars are unbelievably awkward.

Marginally better than the 3 and 6GT, but not sure that says all that much.

Is BMW still considered to be a brand that makes beautiful cars? Like at what point is that reputation lost?

They absolutely offer best in industry performance and tech, but good god have they become uninspiring in design.

It is low. 63.8" but I also think he is tall (look at him in front seat)

A Mini Countryman is 61.3, x3 is 66" and 5 series is 58.2 by comparison.

This really is like a wagon with a little higher ride height.
I think that is the segment it replaced, the 3 wagon, at least outside of Europe.

I have a feeling the X4M will be a better track/handling car than the X3M for several reasons, slightly wider wheelbase, extra width, lower center of gravity, and seems to be a perfect match for a CF roof (doubt the X3M will offer that, but I can see it as an option on X4M). Just wonder if the M division can do anything with that rear end, haha.

Although this car isn't for me, I think the car looks pretty sharp and modern. It's a big improvement over the last generation. I agree that it does look like MB from the rear. It looks sleek but kind of loses the unique BMW identity.

Furthermore, this gives a good indication of what the new X6 will look like in the rear.

Go to Toyota forum and tell people there you don't understand the appeal of Camry or Corolla.
Each to their own.
Very ignorant comment.

Why would anyone take an SUV/4x4 onto a track I ask myself???

um, so why is the MSRP $6,000 higher than the X3 M40i?

I believe the price difference on the old versions was about a $2,000 spread.
oh wait, its because it starts exactly at what the GLC43 starts at...

if X4M costs $6K more than X3M I doubt many will be buying it. Imagine if the M3 was $6,000 cheaper than the M4.
