Bridgestone Pole Position vs Pirelli Sotto Zero
Anyone have experience comparing the Winter performance of the Bridgestone Pole Position All-Season RFTs vice the Pirelli Sotto Zero Winters? I expect the Pirelli's to do better, but wondering how much. Here we get occasional snow, sometimes a foot or more at a time. Usually any lighter snow melts and refreezes so we get a fair amount of ice. I usually need to get to work regardless, so I tend to plan to be driving vice hunkering and waiting. Would love to be able to use the All-Seasons, but am skeptical. Ran the Sotto Zeros last year -- essentially no snow at all!!

I also ran with the Sotto Zero last winter. It snowed once in October, about 2". Not much of a test. If you have to drive in the snow I wouldn't go with all seasons. They might get you going, especially with AWD but stopping and steering are real important also.
