There is no danger to any ECU except the one being flashed, and that danger is minimal if car is on proper charger.

Hi Shawn,
Tried coding in a friend's 2010 F11 and was unsuccessful in the HU_CIC/3000 HMI/EFF_DYN_SPORT_CID. This worked in mine F11 but is not working on his.
Do you have any idea why?

As in the Display showed up but the meters did not work?

Sport Displays are not supported by every Motor / firmware combination. It is a common issue.

I want to start coding a 2015 X3, Canadian version.
Where can I download the proper/latest e-sys version?

Also, does anybody know if the coding of the TPMS pressure and temp reading would work in the Canadian version of the X3?

Is there a preferred type of cable that works best or any cable I can find on eBay would work?

Hi Sean,

I was able to do some coding today but had trouble reading 2 modules. I get an error message when trying to read the HU_NBT and FRM modules. Esys reports back as file not found for both modules. I have the lite version of PSdZData installed.

What can I do to fix this?

Sorry, should've mentioned the file names that were missing. It's reporting that the following 2 files cannot be found:

FRM:
cafd_0000106d-013_012_013

HU_NBT:
cafd_00000ded-003_013_025

The HU_NBT file you linked for me is correct. Do you know where I can get the FRM file?

Thanks for all your help Shawn!

I was able to code:

- opening/closing windows/mirrors/sunroof with key fob/comfort access
- closing of tailgate via keyfob
- disabled iDrive/camera legal disclaimers
- digital speedometer in BC
- enable windows to continue closing when door is opened

Just a few more questions.

Do you know how I can get fog lights to stay on with high beams and how I can get the ///M startup screen? I've looked through posts/cheat sheets but can't seem to find the option.

I noticed that some changes don't work with the other key fob (i.e. mirrors folding/unfolding when the car is locked/unlocked). Is there something else I need to do to get all the features to work with both key fobs? I was thinking of just copying my current profile to the other 2 profiles in the car.

FRM => NSW_AUS_BEI_FL = nicht_aktiv
HU_NBT => STARTUP_EMBLEM = Variant 1

No coding is Fob specific, so I do not know what you have going on there.

For the fob issue, it was an user error on our part.

Everything works as intended.
