Max tire width for 2019 X3 with 18" wheels

What is the max tire width that I can replace on my 2019 18" X3 wheels? I'm really disappointed with the stock tire width from factory.

i believe the stock rims are 7" so you're probably going to max out at 255/55/18.

cant say if that will rub or not. they will be larger in diameter than stock by a hair and 30mm wider.

do confirm with the mfr specs as not all 255/55/18s will be approved to go on a 7" rim
