Aftermarket alloy wheel suggestion

I am planning to get a set of snow tire for my 28i......

As I don't have any experiences with aftermarket alloy wheels, I just want to see which brands you guys have used and would suggested..... Most likely, I will get them from Tirerack.com.....

I know BBS and O.Z. are good buy I can't afford them.....

Those two are exactly the ones I would look at - I am leary of cheap aftermarket wheels. Fortunately, I have a set of 18" BMW 308 wheels for my winter tires.

The 308s that I have were "take offs" from another X3 that was sold where the buyer didn't want the 308s. I got a decent deal on them.

I had a set of rather inexpensive Borbet wheels (from tire rack) that I used for snows on my old X3. They held up well.

I would also like to get some input on the pros and cons of going with a less expensive wheel, and to know what reasonably priced whells would be good for the F25.

What do you guys think of these?

For winter don't really need anything too nice. If it holds up and looks decent, for the price it's not bad.

not really a fan of any of those choices. have you considered VMR's? they look amazing, are inexpensive and i believe are well made.

vmr's are cheap. the 19's are ~1000. perhaps he can get vmr's for year round and replace the stock tires with snows.

I'm planning to go aftermarket for my winter wheels, but I could consider going stock. Does anyone know what a set of 308's lists for? I would love to find some take-offs, but I'm not usually that lucky. I assume that, like every other part, the 308's would be a 2-4 week order from Germany.

Of the three choices, the AVR7s. But maybe others better.

Does anybody know how good the quality of AVARUS wheels are?
It seems to be a good looking wheel and has a good price, but is it a good wheel or junk?

Prices for OEM wheels from my dealer:
307 $1300/set
308 $1400
368 $1500
Less than I thought they might be.

I have Rial Salernos for my 335 for winter. They have been great, durable and cheap. Highly recommended, and if it matters to you, they are made in Germany.
