BlackBerry Torch 2 9860 Bluetooth issues

Anyone got one of these new BlackBerry devices yet.. never really had a problem with Blackberry in BMW before, but this one doesn't want to play ball. It connects then 5 minutes later drops and repeats over and over.. mid call it drops to the handset until it reconnects.. totally unusable.

I called BMW to ask if there were any updates, and typically the unknowing people at BMW told me reliably that BMW do not issue any software updates or changes for Bluetooth (even though the option on their site is there). Stupid woman.

The download still appears to be the first BIN file, and the 9860 model isn't showing on there. BMW said on the phone they only support 9800 at this time.

I have been using Blackberry Torch 9860 since late September and it has been working fine with the car's bluetooth. I didn't notice any disconnection and no problem on placing/receiving calls.
I don't have office function tho.

Have a 9850; works perfect with bluetooth. Both contacts and MAP work great.

Matt, might not be your issue, but turn off wi-fi & gps, or at least wi-fi. I've found with some bb devices that wi-fi messes with the bluetooth connection. Worth a shot given it only takes a second or two to test.

Just on the subject of the Blackberry Torch, I have the older model 9800, does anyone know if there is a snap in adaptor available now.

No snap in adapter for the Torch, I've been looking for one also.

My build is Verizon 7.0.0.374. You might try Crackberry forums for 9860/50 to see what the latest update is for 9860.
