Anyone else find buckling seat belt difficult to accomplish?
I find it extremely difficult to buckle the seat belt in our 2013 X3. The female part down between the seat and console is located to far back and down low to where it is hard to reach around and click it in. It is almost like the female side is too short. Anyone else notice this?

too short
I've heard complaints about male parts being too short...

No it isn't a girth issue
The female part of the belt is tucked into the corner of the seat where the back and seat meet. Between the bolster and console, clipping it in is not an easy motion. You can't get your whole hand in there to buckle it, you have to use your fingers. Maybe I'll take a pic and post. Because nobody else chimed in on this it makes me wonder if I do have an issue with either and early part that was redesigned or perhaps an incorrect part having been used. This was an April 2012.

Wit or no wit, I also find it slightly difficult at times to insert it into the female part. I only consider this to be a very small annoyance on the annoyance scale. I'm thinking it has to do with cushioning on the sport seats, at least on mine

It's slightly difficult and I also have to use my fingers rather than my whole hand but I've compensated for it and never really gave it any thought until this thread!

Yes, I have a 2011 and initially, I found it very difficult to insert, but now, I have gooten used to it and it is second nature. Passengers not used to it have a tough time buckling their belts and always have a complaint.

I assume this is an issue with sports seats - we have the standard ones and it is not a issue.

IMO, not even an "issue", since I hadn't given it a thought until someone mentioned it and even then forgot about it. I still prefer my MSport seats .

I have fumbled around with the latch while wearing a winter jacket... Let's hope that ain't an issue for much longer.

Yes, it does take some getting used to...the seat belt is not the best. However, I have found that shifting my body just a little away from the buckle while fastening does help.

It's not an issue but I do think it's a little more cumbersome than other vehicles I have owned. My wife finds the passenger side especially hard to buckle and tells me about it all the time but I do agree with her it could be and should be a little easier.
