New AW Msport X3 comparison with X1 Photos

Here's the x3 compared to the loaner X1. Funny that they are both Alpine White!

it was the x1 that brought me into looking at getting a new car, I love a good hatchback. When i went to the lot my eye wandered over at the x3, at first i didn't think i could afford to pay so much for the x3 but i'm happy that i splurged and went with the x3. The x1 just felt really tight. These are great comparison shots!

Yeah, the x1 drives more like a car. Pretty stiff chassis indeed. The x3 is def. more refined.

Only thing missing on the X3 is the Xenons! Cornea rings and BMW's go hand in hand.

I'm pretty sure they're called Corona Rings... I don't recall them being called Cornea Rings and AGREED! And even better go for the Adaptive LEDs they are AWESOME! I will NEVER go back to Halogens nor Xenons (unless LEDs aren't available)

I currently drive an X1 MSport and am currently waiting for my X3

I have to say that the X1 has been faultless over the last 4 years and nearly 50k miles .. A very underrated car if you ask me

I am looking forward to the X3 and doing my own long term comparison

I have to say that I bought the X1 as I wanted a 3 series wagon with xdrive which at the time they didn't sell in the UK .. If they had .. That's what I would have bought ... I don't regret the X1 at All but see it as a jacked up 3 series touring rather than a proper SUV

It is based on the E90 which I ran before the X1 ( see my profile pic) and it drives like the E90 .. Better in fact .. Certainly rides better

I did consider another one .. Or a F31 .. But in the end the X3 won out

The x1 definitely still has that classic BMW feel and handles very well like the e90, but the interior of the X3 LCI is on another level. Close to the X5.
