Deal or no deal?
Hi guys,
I just ran my highlander into a sinkhole. The car is totaled! Good excuse to get a new car, right? Let me know what you guys think about the following car: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-X3-xDriv...US_Cars_Trucks Do you think the price is fair? What room for wiggle is there for price? Also it states driver assistant plus, can that be coupled with M package. It is pretty much how I'd configure the car if I were to order it myself. Thanks! |

Do you happen to know the sticker price for the car? From the options they show, it sounds like the price would be $8K to $10K off the sticker, which sounds pretty good for just having 205 miles.
I would just go to the 'Build Your Own' section of the BMW site and configure the car. Doing so will give you the sticker price as well as answer you questions about driver assistant plus and the M package. If you can't combine them it will tell you when you try. -Bruce |

according to Cargurus, the list was 60K. 44 days on the lot, 93 days for sale. you might get a few hundred off towards the end of the month, if it is still available.
I read nothing on the build sheet at bmwvin.com stating driver assistant plus (5AT). |

Then I would suggest getting a best price from for the configuration you really want, then you can compare this deal to the price of your preferred configuration. This will let you see exactly what your saving by taking the car the dealer has vs. ordering exactly what want. -Bruce |

On our '11, the 19s were harsh- I would never have consider 20s. The '11 never felt like it was dampened correctly, almost as if it needed an extra rebound to make up for the overly stiff springs. And for context, this is from a former E92 M3 (w/ competition package) owner.
On the '15, the 19s are great, and I can see owning 20s with no issue. In fact, I just bot a 19" set of wheels and tires for winter (something I would have never considered for the '11). Easily the first option box I would check. |

What am I missing? Why is the car discounted so heavily? Very odd for a 2015 to be profitable with this deep of a discount. There are no manufacture to dealer rebates right now on 2015 X3's? So if the car is straight and legit I would be all over it if it's configured the way you want.
