I agree with sparoz. Forget what I said a couple of posts above. Since then I've seen a few on-line articles basically confirming that the non-turbo I6 is being discountinued by BMW across their model range to be replaced with the N20 - which presumably would include the X3. Interestingly the turbo I6 (the 35i) is to continue. Now if this happens and the N20-powered X3 is the only petrol X3, it makes me wonder whether or not BMW Australia might reconsider bringing in the X3 35i (pure speculation on my part).
