X3 F25 English Brochure Released
Australian BMW site has been updated to include the new X3 brochure for download.
Unfortuantely I'm having problems uploading to the forum, but you can download from www.bmw.com.au (looks like the official translation of the German version released a couple of months ago). |

On page 23 where the M Sport Package details are there is a disclaimer which says, 'Gearshift paddles are not available in Australia'. Anyone know the reason for this ?

Same in the UK. Are you right hand drive, like us? Maybe that's the cause?

The few things I've seen on towing said 2400 Kg (5280 pounds). The Aussie version is rated 2200 Kg (4840 pounds). Haven't heard anything about the official American-version towing spec yet.

It's the same thing with the E83. It's rated 2000 kg in Europe, but only 3500 lb in the US. You loose 500 lb just because of the classification system.

Thanks clarence. Given that the Australian market won't be getting the xDrive35i with the N55, that might explain it. It still seems a little odd as we will be getting the xDrive30d which has the same engine as the 330d which can be ordered here with paddles.
