New X3

hi all,

just wonder if anyone when they bought the new X3 in australia receiving the Triangular hazard sign and first aid kit with the car purchase?
as i read the BMW newsletter from the bmw.com.au website on the X3 30d, it said all X3 will comes with Triangular hazard sign and first aid kit, however mine doesn't....

please advise

Hi ppduck

I picked up up my first BMW X3 3.0D yesterday (Melbourne) and mine has the triangular hazard sign and first aid kit. Hope this helps

ppduck you probably do have them, hidden away behind the panel at the rear of the luggage compartment on the left side. Just pull the panel out and there they are. Also there is a key to the locking wheel nut/bolt.

Does it mean that US customers will face severe break downs and major injuries?

I think it's because you might sue BMW after applying a 2" BMW first aid plaster to a gaping wound and then bleeding to death

Not sure on the justification for no warning triangle though. Perhaps in case of a law suit for someone tripping over it
