I think this is my favourite interior colour combination. Unfortunately I couldn't keep it clean! Or the black exterior!

It's the black exterior that worries me the most.....

I agree, it's a gorgeous colour combo. Clivem2, pls report back how the colour stands up to dye transfer and general use. I understand BMW's own leather cleaner for dye transfer is very good.

Think I'm right in saying you don't get the footrest on RHD models and it's noted in the brochure (even thought its shown)

Shame about the foot rest...

I want to get rid of these printed warnings. I've tried Goo Gone but it's not aggressive enough. I need some form of solvent. Any ideas? These warnings are in 3 languages including German so I suppose this is European spec now.

I've worn away some of the ink on the RHS (see below), I don't want to try this on the over side of the visor in case I damage the visible side of the visor.

Ant 6500 miles and my oyster leather holding up well, clean front seats every 2 weeks with leather wipes and any denim dye or grime comes off well, im sure at 3 years old they wont be perfect but that wont be my problem as i will be trading in.

Clive, looks great.. I went for the same colour but with a black interior.

Also, its good to see the MPG you are getting.. I was hoping to get around 40 after it was run in, and at the moment I am getting 35-37, but its only done 150 miles so far.

I have a small problem with the paint on the nearside front wing that I need to go back to the dealer, it looks like something got spilled on it when they applied the paint protection.

BMW activated the online stuff today and internet, so ill play with that when I get a chance.

Previously I've driven M cars, and was coming from an M3, and wanted to cut my costs all round. When I ordered originally the 3.0 was not available, but it became available to order and I changed without driving it.. even though when I drove the 2.0 I thought I would be liveable coming from the M, I am really very pleased with the performance of the 3.0

Welcome Matt. Looks awesome. I'm still yet to see an M Sport in the flesh but look forward to seeing one. Congratulations!

Hi Matt, yours looks great on the 19's. We should put ours side by side to show how the black trim vs aluminium looks. I know I had a hard time deciding. With black interior probably all black on the outside is best. I too am in saving money mode (the saving over my previous car pays for my wife's Mini). Likewise I'm still very pleased with performance following my 335i, the engine is actually pretty close in power and torque to the engine in the 335D.

Hi Clive, yeah sure we can do that.. depending on where you are in the UK.. I'm Sussex/Surrey.

I only have close up shots of the interior, I should try and get some more with better light to show the true darkness, as the ones I have make it look much lighter than it is.

On the plus side, I dropped into a dealer today to have the marks on the paintwork looked at, and they confirmed they had seen it before, took it into the paint bay, heated up and repolished and all gone.. great service.
