EDC warning: I've had the '13 X3 in a couple of times after an EDC warning stating "reduced riding comfort." The tech switched the wiring harnesses to attempt to isolate the issue but that didn't work. Anyone else had to deal with this and if so what was the fix?

Cheers

'11 F25, no issues with my dampers. I use them in sport mode almost every day.

I havent had any problems, I have them on all of my cars and my X3 and I live in Los Angeles, Pot Hole capital of the world Maybe the problem you are having is software related, let us know what it turns out to be -- hope it's a simple quick fix.

You obviously have never been to Detroit then if you think you have potholes! Actually everywhere that gets snow has more potholes than LA!

I had this issue when I first got my '12 35i m-sport. They had to replace the sensors in basically every wheel because getting bad reads.

Had a lot of issues with sensors so far, most recently had to have all of the TPMS sensors replaced.

They (the service technician and BMW Engineering in NJ) are saying at this point it's possibly a faulty wiring harness and other unspecified parts on order from Germany. This is not looking like a speedy turn around and fix...

The wiring harness and at least one wheel sensor has been replaced. A control module has been ordered from Germany. There is no idea how long this will take or the end result...

Its unlikely that you will need it, but check your state's Lemon Law, and start documenting everything. Just in case - it never hurts to be prepared...

Still waiting on parts. Picked up our X3 after waiting for over a week, the X1 loaner was a piece in comparison - it had to go...

I spoke too soon. I have the EDC error again and have to take my '12 x3 in on monday. I've had all 4 sensors and the control module replaced so far over the year I've had the car.

I'm petrified what this will cost once the car is out of warranty....
