DHP changes for 2012 w/M-sport?

I noticed by M-sport listed DDC (option 223 with a + (noting alternate option) on the vehicle inquiry report.

The only option listed for DHP was the 2VL: variable sport steering.

I thought in 2011 that DHP was recommended for the DDC, and we got the other stuff as a side effect. If DDC is now truly part of the M-sport package, I don't think I'd get DHP.

Thoughts? Comments?

Any BMW sales folks care to comment? This is not one of the changes listed in the options/pricing thread.

I think this is sort of wierd on 2011 as well.

On my 2011 build sheet - it shows DHP as including Performance Control (which comes w/ M sport that I ddi not get) and Variable Sport Steering. Nowhere under the Dynamic Handling Package does it mention DDC. However - when you add the DHP, the Dynamic Damper Control DDC shows up on its OWN line as N/C...much further down the build sheet. worked this way both on my online build and the build that came from the dealer's computer printout.

Interesting.

Salesman says that the DDC is still part of DHP, but somehow shows up under the M-sport pack.
