So I've managed to convince myself I'm doing too many miles in my X3

Solution = sell it ?

Solution 2 = buy another BMW ?

Mine is somewhat lesser though still not too shabby

Congratulations! I considered the Z4 but decided to get a baby instead.

Two weeks ago I bought a 2nd car to reduce the number of "unnecessary" miles put on the X3. The 2nd is a quiet manual and because it's a hatchback it's less clumsy than the X3 for trips to places where parking is a squeeze.

Less mileage means that when it comes time to trade-in, the X3 will be worth more, and off course, during the ownership we will have spent less on service and tyres.

Best of all, the 2nd car has made me appreciate the X3 a bit more. It's easy to moan about sound quality and the runflats but if you regularly switch between the X3 and another car, you realize what a lovely car it is.

Here's my Skoda Fabia 1.2TSI Manual next to the X3.

We got ourselves an i3 - to do all the town miles in - a lot of fun round town too.....

Had our X3 for 5 years now and it still feels almost new and real pleasure every time we just get in it.... the only thing we could replace it with would be another one!

I've come to the conclusion that you just can't have enough BMW's ?
