2 millionth SC BMW

BMW announced today that the 2 millionth car produced at the Greer, SC plant rolled off the line today. It was a red X3 35i

As a South Carolinian (exiled in WI), The fact that the X3 was put together in South Carolina was a selling point and a point of pride for me.

As an aside, I wonder who is going to get that car?

Damn... so close, but no cigar. Production week matched, color matched... but engine and m-sport package no match.

Or maybe they have upgraded my purchase...

It's a left hooker so that rules out the British/Aus market.

It will be a display vehicle. From greg2step's link - "While all vehicles are custom ordered prior to production, this symbolic vehicle will remain on display at the Spartanburg Plant to commemorate the milestone."
