X4 M40i Turbo Lag
My 2010 X5 is in for work -- a couple of weeks before trade-in. The loaner is a 2016 X3 28i. This car has a pronounced turbo lag under hard acceleration. What's the experience of the X4 M40 or X4 35 owners? Do you notice the "dreaded" lag?
Thanks.

I don't think you will be disappointed - already my 35i has no noticeable lag , and M40i has an aggressive throttle response - especially in Sport.
If anything 28i lacks some grunt for the (fairly) heavy X4. You can rest (wait) in peace For very quick overtaking, I recommend Man and downgearing before overtaking - then you don't get the jerk and half a second delay. |

Just traded our 2011 X5 5.0 on a 2016 X4 M40. ZERO lag on the X4 M40. LOVE IT!!!!
