Thank you for the pics. It seems like in some countries, the X3 have rear day time running lights.

i have a 2014 x3 US model with xenon, i set the drl (angels eyes) ON and the light switch on AUTO. I would sometimes see the Green "Parking Lights" indicator on the instrument cluster sometimes comes ON & OFF and I do not know what kind of conditions does it comes ON at, cause i can be at daytime and the parking lights comes ON, headlights OFF, and angel eyes ON.

So at night time i will see 2 green lights indicator on my instrument cluster telling me the headlights and parking lights are ON

yes that can happen, when green indicator comes on it means your headlight turned on even if the sun is out or its still light outside.

parking lights or amber lights go on when your headlights go on at the same time. Unless its the fog lights?

I have euro switch for rear fogs, and I have euro tail lights with amber turn signal.

Welcome. And I think it depends on the year they were made.

Even in Canada, just the 2011 models have the rear DRL.

If I put my headlight switch on auto, I have rear DRL. If my switch is on the "0" position, my front DRL's are on without the rears being on. I think it just comes down to which position you have the switch on.

I like it!

I wonder why BMW got rid of it after 2011.
