H&R vs Eibach Drop
I haven't been able to find many people with the Eibach's on the X3 except for one guy on the forum, looks like H&R is more pre-dominent.
Strange thing is, the drop on the Eibachs looks quite big in the photos compared to the specs: Any feed back? According to the site Eibach: Front drop: 1.0 in. Rear drop: 0.5 in. H&R: Front drop: 1.4 in. Rear drop: 1.3 in. Comparison white x3 with H&R Eibach: |

Maybe I was that one guy
Eibach firms up the ride quite nicely and is very well controlled, but the X3 still rolls a bit on turns. I used what's marketed as X3 35i springs on my X3 N20, but the drop is smaller than I'd like. It's not going to look like a baby X5 M Sport. |

Yes a bit, but RFT is a problem - go for non-RFT:s when new tyres. Add 12V compressor and sealant/slime. Amazon.
Also I am riding close to bump stops - not shortened shocks - so at bumps there is an earlier contact with stops. Stops are soft and will compress about 50mm. |

Here's all my research on the 4 brands of springs I found, plus coilovers I was considering at the time. IIRC, Eibach has different springs for Europe vs. NA. The drop is greater in Europe.
Super happy with my H&R's. You can search up my posts For more details. . |

What do you mean if they make it? If KW still makes coilovers for the X3? I'd be surprised if they've stopped. As of a year ago, As I indicated in my document above, the KW V2's were Available, as were a few other options for our car.
If you do get the KW's, or any other coilover for the X3, you would be the first I have heard of on this forum! |

I'm surprised the rear drop for you is only 0.98" |

Regardless, now the gap in the front is slightly less than the rear (8 mm), which is the perfect look, and is almost even front to back. Would definitely recommend you add spacers afterwards, as it completes the look. I went with 12's up front and 20 in the rear. |
