Everytime I start the car I get 'select driver profile' option come up, I keep selecting 'profile 1' thinking it will stop asking but unfortunately each time I start the car it displays again, am I doing something wrong?

Also still having issues with the ipod, gets stuck on the loading screen many times but occasionally it will play - any idea's folks?

I had exactly the same thing when I got my X3 last November. You can easily fix it by selecting 'Vehicle' from the main Menu. From there, select 'Driver Profiles' and then scroll to the bottom. You'll find that 'View driver profile at start' is selected. Deselect it and you'll find you never see it again (unless you want to).

No idea on the ipod as I use a USB stick along with the hard drive which I've downloaded my music to.

Another question - can the radio station logo be displayed on the screen? I am sure I have seen an X3 for sale on the BMW website that had the radio logo displayed to the right with the currently track playing on the left rather than just a square indicating what type of genre the station is.

I think it depends on the version of I-Drive software and if you have the right subscriptions.

On my 2016 BMW, I see the radio station logo and then what song/artist is playing.

On XM, it will show a graphic as well on which channel you are on.

I have the same question about radio station graphics. On my wife's VW Polo she gets station graphics for DAB stations. They came preloaded on the car- I don't know how they are updated, if indeed they can be.

In the US you can get a satellite radio option for the car- hence they might get station graphics but European models don't. I just get a generic graphic for the station.

Can anyone confirm?
