Hey all
Is it just me, or does the HD radio not really show any data on a 2012 X3? I currently have a 2015 320i as a loaner and when you click a radio station, the screen comes up and shows the artist, song etc... but it's like that screen doesn't exist on my X3. I've checked the options and the HDS box is ticked, but I don't get any info from any stations. any help is appreciated!

When you are on a station, click OPTION and look for the option to show station info, and you will see artist, song, etc.

I checked the options again and there is nothing there for show station info. It's weird because when I go into options and read the manual, it says to do what you said as well but the option just isn't there. Any idea?

Is HD radio the same as DAB radio in the UK?
We see the artist and song come up on DAB

You must have the "cursor" selecting the HD radio that you are listening at the moment, and then press the option button, then you should see the option.

These are all the screens I have. I've tried every possible way and am getting no where

I have found that for HD radio channels I can display the station info/artist/track...but cannot split screen and have to manually get there, does not stay on that screen when you press the radio button. It is a bit annoying that older cars with only one line of LEDs can display the artist and song info but ours with a full screen usually cannot.

Maybe is because you have a split screen.... I will take pictures tomorrow and I'll show you where do I set it up (and I will try with split screen, but I suspect that the problem is because of that)

Ok, here it is, I am attaching the screen captures.

As you can see, the option is there BUT on my list of radio stations, it says HD on the station I was using,,,

hmmmm. that's really weird. I never see HD by any of the stations but I know they broadcast HD because in other vehicles I drive or shows info no problem... plus, with some of them it scrolls the title of the song in the top right hand corner but I still never see "station info" in the options. peculiar to say the least. I don't get what is holding it back in my car. Surely in has the HD receiver? are there any coding options to try?
