Best colour?

I'm considering buying an X3 35i, Alpine white with Havanna Nevada leather and the wave brown wood trim.

What do you guys think of this combo?

What is the best/most common colour?

There is a dozen exteriors, 5 interiors, several trim options - its all opinion. Each one of us has our own... I would say either go with Alpine White, Havanna leather, wave brown trim because its what you want... or go with Deep Sea Blue w/ Mojave and alum brush trim because its what I have and I love telling everyone to order Blue

its all personal opinion. There isn't a bad color in the bunch.

Sound like a nice combo to me. Best one? The one that makes you smile and look forward to a nice day of washing and waxing . . . and mine, of course.

Are you sure you wanna go for a non metallic exterior paint? One person claimed it chips out easily, not sure about others experiences.

I'm Vermillion Red with Nevada Beige and it looks very warm (and non-leased slash private )

Few days ago I saw one in Bluewater with Nevada Black. Also quite nice! Better than non-colors like black/white/grey.

I've ordered a space gray X3 with black leather and wave wood trim.

I considered the Havana leather/Mojave chestnut interior, but it appears more red in person than it does online.

The oyster leather seats look the best to me, but I'm too afraid that my blue jeans will leave them all marked with blue.

I went back and forth between Titanium silver and space gray but finally settled with space gray.

My dealer told me carbon black is their most popular color. You really don't get a feel for it until you see it in person. It's a black with blue flakes mixed in it.

It's ALWAYS whatever colour (or color) your spouse likes best.
In my case it's Vermillion Red with a black interior.
If you don't have a spouse or "significant other", it really doesn't matter.

+1 for the comment, and +1 for the VR with Black.

+1 for the spouse recommending that we splurge on the 35i.

I have the carbon black and it is absolutely beautiful. I don't know how they do it, but when light hits it it looks very dark blue. Otherwise it is black. Pics on BMW site don't do it justice. I doubt carbon black is the most popular color. It is essentially a $7000 color option (you have to get M sport package and therefore premium package to get it). If you were going to get all that stuff anyway, then go ahead. otherwise it is not worth it. I'm attaching some pics so you can take a look.

Check it out in person!

If you can, I'd stop by and check if you can see the interior color combination you are thinking about. In particular, the wood trim. I was sold on the wave wood trim, but when I saw it in person, it was much bolder than I thought just seeing it online. You might also be able to see the leather you are thinking about... Better to see stuff in person before hand if you can.

Your colour combo is exactly what I was going to order as I think it would look really good. In the end I went for Carbon Black as metallic paint is a no cost option on M Sport so I din't see the point of having "ordinary" paint when I could have metallic.

I got the non-metallic Jet Black and the Chestnut leather with the Fineline Wave trim. I really really like the Nevada Chestnut Interior and chose the Jet Black exterior because it matched it. I'm not crazy about any of the trims... I much prefer Audi's matte wood trim. Fineline Sienna wasn't available when I ordered (or at least it wasn't online).

I also find the Oyster color to be quite striking but I was worried about how easily it would become soiled.

All of the dealer cars I have seen have been Titanium Silver and I liked that color as well but it did not match the Chestnut leather...

Had the jet black on my last 330i. Loved the look but battling the swirl marks started to drive me crazy. How is it with your X3?

Black, white and silver are the three most common car colours specified for all cars worldwide - I dare to be an individual?

I just waxed it last weekend and its looking pretty good. I keep good care of my car... clean it inside and out weekly but I'm not a detail fanatic. I don't really notice them.

Love the color and contrast... but... ugh... your steering wheel is on the wrong side! Did you talk to your dealer about that!?!?!
