It sure has, have already had a call from dealer saying that they will probably receive the car today, and it will be ready for pick up next week.

Sadly my status is still 'in transit' so I will be waiting a little longer.

just picked mine up a couple of hours ago....

only done 6 miles so far cos i had to go back to work... chuffed!

obligatory photo here but will be polishing/waxing when i have some time..

drive so far is interesting - throttle/brake is much lighter than i remember (and compared to my E60)...

only thing is the folding mirrors don't seem to be working all the time - may have to go back to be fixed

Are you folding the mirrors by key fob lock, or by internal switch? Does one work better than the other?

Never had any problems with folding the mirrors remotely or by using switch inside the car so if you've noticed a problem already, you should definitely get them to fix it for you.

by key fob.. the first time we used it, it was right in front of the dealer so i think he broke a sweat too...

not tried internal switch, didn't know there was one until now!

can someone confirm for me, when you open the bonnet, should there be a floor panel under the engine? i can see straight through to the ground which is unusual for me as both the 5 series and z4 had floor panels?

stealer confirmed today I can collect on Friday 30 Sep - same as Washy and possibly Viking. Car to arrive at stealers on Monday so must be in Southampton dock for the weekend then straight up A34/M40

Sadly mine is showing as the 6th October so looks like I still have 2 weeks to go. Still haven't managed to trace the vin no on any ship, but it's status is in transit so should be on it's way at least.

Planning to live vicariously through the rest of you taking delivery in the meantime. So will require lots of pics...
