Front drive shaft broke

Okay so front drive shaft U-joint just gave out and punched hole in tranny pan. Did some pretty gnarly damage to the lip of the tranny pan on top and bottom. Still i think ill be okay and i can fix that. however when U-joint broke it is severely impeding me getting any good bite on the torx. please any suggestions. ive attached a photo of the damage to trans pan mount.

Update: for those interested i ended up grinding off the bolts to fully remove driveshaft. I used a small dremel tool. Then i bought the trans fluid change kit, bolted up and no leaking.

On a side note: the fill method for this suv has to be the most ridiculous thing ive ever read.
