Hi All, please accept my apologies if I am not doing this in the correct way. I have never used a forum before.

I'm told I have to introduce my self, I'm a massive car fan having mostly german vehicles, VW's, Mercedes and currently have a T5.1, many years ago I had an M3 which I loved.

I have purchased my first BMW in a long time a few days ago 2011 X3 F25, I am very pleased with the car but the seats were damaged, I purchased a pair of front electric seats and wired them in (no issues) however the drivers seat works for a few mins and then doesn't, at first I assumed it was the power (not a big enough fuse) but this is all ok.

If I turn off the car, lock it and wait a few seconds and then get back in, the seat works, I can only assume this is to do with the can-bus.

Would anyone be able to shed some light on this as its driving me nuts, a pin lay out or how to wire them in so they work correctly.
