Charge Pipe connecting hose help
I recently blew my oem chargepipe on my 2013 x3 35i on stock boost and decided I'm gonna replace it with the VRSF aluminum charge pipe. When the chargepipe blew off, it seems to have broke the end of some hose as well, i've been trying to research what this hose is with no luck so here i am. The tube is connected to the side of the chargepipe. I figure I atleast need to replace the end fitting as the hose is fine, but not sure where to get said piece.

Go here https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select, input the last 7 of your car's VIN number and drill down into the engine/ turbo and related components to identify the part.

If I'm remembering correctly the exact same thing happened to mine and I was able to fish to broken nub out of the hose and just reuse it. It's been like 15k miles since then and everything is working great.
Try squeezing the sides and using needle nose or something. I can't remember how I did it, this was 2 years ago. |
