This is exactly what I thought the first time I saw the new GLC. Heh, at first glance this looks like the current X3!! Is MB copying…? At the same time the GLK has an ugly/weird style (a while back I wanted a MB so I almost bought a GLK, what a relief I did not), so the change of style makes sense.

I love the exterior style of my X3 so in the same manner I find the GLC attractive, but from the rear it does not look too good [in my book]; I just don’t like these rounded/smooth designs that are so common in Audis and Porsches.

Interior-wise, I don’t know, call me old school or whatever, but I find the style of the X3 very classic and elegant. I love my tan Nevada leather and the fineline wave wood trim.

Sounds a lot better indeed. Go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks! One of the dealers was trying to talk me out of what I wanted and trying to shoehorn me into what they have on the lot or can get from another dealer..totally annoying.

Exilio, do you realise that the X5 3.5i X-drive starts at $ 56.200,- ?
I mean, if you are going to spend about $ 60.000, than why not look at the X5 ?
I know I would.

Oh don't think I didn't flirt with that idea!

However, a comparably equipped X5 is roughly $72k. Ouch.

With the X3, I am getting it loaded with all the things I want.

So quit tempting me!
