On some other forums, I have read talk about a genuine BMW multimedia interface accessory that allows things like DVD players, laptops and games consoles to play on the Idrive screen.

I know these things are available from non-genuine suppliers, but I don't want to take the warranty risk with a brand new car..

Anybody know any more about this product?

PS Part number is apparently 65 50 0 418 002, or may have changed to 65 50 0 431 544..
