Shaking under Braking surprise solution

Six moths ago I bought an X3, 2016 with 105,000 KM (65,000 miles). Since day one the car experiences a shaking under braking when the speed was above 80 km/h (50 mi/h). I took the vehicle to BMW dealer one hour drive from home to do a diagnostic. The dealer charged $200 for one hour …they confirm what I was experience and their diagnostic was warp front rotors…about $2,500 for replace them.
I deice to hold on that, since the symptoms does not line up with warp rotor. The break pedal does not pump and the steering wheel does not shake. After driving the car for about 10,000 km (6,213 mi), I was ready to buy new rotor since I could not find other cause for shaking under braking.
The car was due for automatic gear box oil change I bought a kit from this site:
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-24118612901kt

And follow the video on the site and this thread https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1770476
I found the used oil a little darker than the video. After the drive test, I notice the shifting was smother. but the most surprising result the shaking under braking disappears…. I guess the BMW dealer did not have a clue about the problem, I am very sure that if the rotor got replace at the dealer the problem still there and they will be asking for more money with not clue what was the actual problem. I hope this experience help some body else.

I just put new rotors on our X3 for about $250. $2,500 is a comical price. For future reference, it's "braking" and "brakes" not "breaking" and "breaks." It's the most often misspelled car word.

thank for the correction.. Regarding the cost the dealer wants to replace rotor, sensor, pad, etc. but this was not the actual issue.
